Best Burgers in Chicago? So far… readers say Zak’s and mag says Prairie
2 September 2009 in PlacesIn newsstands now and an online poll… Chicago Magazine is taking a poll of the best burger in Chicago. Right now, Zak’s Place in Chicago Hinsdale is in first with Kuma’s Corner in second among readers poll. I have never been to Zak’s but I will have to stop on by next time I am in that neighborhood. Their Lunch menu boasts the Zak’s burger with 11 oz (!!) of certified Angus beef. You can add apple wood smoked bacon as well. Not sure what else is on the burger but so far it leads the way as the best in this beef town. Chicago Magazine’s opinion has the Sarah Stegner Prairie Grass Cafe in the top spot.
